Lanemark establishes key facility in China and announces largest process gas heating contract to date

Specialist gas burner manufacturer Lanemark International Ltd., is pleased to announce a major development to its business activity in China and is delighted to report its largest burner supply contract into the country to date. Lanemark Combustion Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. has recently been established and is jointly owned with Pacific Central Teknik PTE Ltd., Lanemark’s long-term agent in Singapore, to supply process gas burner equipment for tank and air heating applications to customers throughout China.

“The Lanemark office in shanghai is able to offer burner sales and the necessary support engineering services,” comments Lanemark Managing Director, Paul Collier. “We have recently signed up to a number of trade exhibitions in the area to promote our products.”

One of the initial tasks that Lanemark Combustion Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. will undertake is to oversee the installation and commissioning of the largest contract won by Lanemark in the region. A total of 55 FD5C(GA) burners, designed to provide highly controllable and reliable process air heating for a new fibreglass processing plant, has been supplied through the company’s Shanghai distributor, Shanghai Heju M&E Equipment Co. Ltd.

“Production is now complete and we have shipped all the burner systems to China for installation,” adds Adrian Langford, Lanemark Process Burner General Manager. “The contract demonstrates the suitability of our equipment and the growing uptake of gas as a process heating source in the country,” he says.

Paul Collier, who confirms that a key objective of the development in the region is to focus particularly on developing areas such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Jinan, echoes this optimism –

“These are exciting times in the country and we are delighted that our expertise and technology is now proven to meet specific processing requirements. We are very confident that the establishment of the new company in Shanghai, and the recruitment of key experienced individuals, will put us in a good position to grow our business successfully across this important Far Eastern market,” he concludes.
